Gestational diabetes is a common issue that complicates some pregnancies. There are several types but can lead to impaired or excessive growth in your baby. This can lead to birth injury or need for cesarean delivery. Poorly controlled diabetes can even be fatal to your baby even after birth. Early diagnosis especially women at risk, proper nutrition, exercise, testing and medicaitons can lead to a successful and health outcome for both mom and baby.
